Six Mile Bridge – The Vision

It was back in 2005 that I started thinking about forming a new band. Down through the years I had become friends with a lot of great musicians, but they came from different places all over Europe. And so the vision started to take shape: Invite a different bunch of musicians every year, practice for a day or two, play a few gigs over the weekend – and next year it will start all over again.

We did our first gigs in 2006, and it has been a great adventure so far: 20 different musicians over the last 12 years, more than 50 gigs in 4 different countries. In recent years the line-up has become more stable, the bond has become stronger, the band has become tighter… but the idea is still the same: making beautiful music with great friends from near and far. And so the journey continues…
